On my way to the Pitch ⚽️ | A manifestation story

[Speaker 1]
I learnt a lesson today on manifestation. It's either I learnt a lesson or some shit happened today and I'm trying to force a lesson out of it. But you will tell me.

I play football every Monday at Beehive School in Nkeja. And mostly to go there, I go with my friend Marcos. I go to his house and then we drive to the school to play.

But today, Marcos is not feeling fine. So, I had to find my way with a bus. My target was to get to the field before 6.30 because 6.30 we start playing. But I saw a bus loading and I walked into the bus. I was the second person, there was somebody in front. We sat together.

After a while, the man left. He just stood up from the, like, you know, he was impatient. Nobody else was coming to the bus and, you know, so he was impatient and left.

And I was thinking of leaving. I was like, ah, should I? Should I just leave too?

The bus is basically, I'm the only one here now. And I was motioning to, like, shift and get out of there. They're not offering me the front seat.

Do I want to sit here? I better let that man be going there. Let him, ah, I'm like, you know, what do you mean let that man be going there?

What did he do? And this man was explaining to me that that man, he was just frowning, just frowning, just a few customers. Like, three people have entered and left, you know?

Like, three people have entered the bus and ended up leaving since he'd been there. So they're, like, trying to say that he had bad energy, you know? He had bad energy.

But let me sit, let me sit. People, I will see people will come and enter this bus. Like, this bus will be full now.

Well, seeing the bus empty, I gave myself an ultimatum. That 6 p.m., right, this was around 5.45 now. And so I'm like, if I'll be in this bus until 6, even by 6 p.m. this bus is not ready to move. I will find my way. And sure enough, one woman came in. She sat.

Now, the way they said it, it was clear that they had manifested. You know, it was a manifestation. They could kind of see that this bus will be full now because me, I'm in front.

Like, it's a superstition thing. But they were manifesting the full bus with me in front of it. Now, they're probably tricking me.

This is legal. So this is probably a tactic still to try and keep me there. But I made my decision, so I don't feel played.

But after a few minutes, nobody was coming. Nobody was coming. And then she was on the phone with somebody.

[Speaker 2]
And the person told her to take a different route.

[Speaker 1]
And she was like, well, I'm in a bus. And he's like, no, take a different. She actually came down from the bus.

She came down from the bus. And so now it's like, yo, this thing is not working. I even told the conductor.

As soon as this conductor spoke to me, two people just entered. So we are three now in the vehicle. This vehicle needs seven people to be complete.

So I figured out a shorter way to do it. A way that would be as if I even actually went from here. So I was going to give them until 6 p.m. So I won't miss anything. So I can actually give them until 6 p.m., you know? Give them until 6 p.m. to see what happens.

[Speaker 2]
But less than 10 minutes to go. About nine minutes to go now until 6 p.m. So it's looking unlikely.

[Speaker 1]
But I'll see it through. It was 5.57. And I had to make a decision on if I would leave the car, if I would still leave the car at 6. At the time, you know, in hindsight, it was, you would say it's a no-brainer.

But in the moment, I was indecisive. But I know if I'm not passing, it's still at 3. It's still like, even if the time passes, I don't want to be the first out of four to come out.

Right now, I don't know.

[Speaker 2]
I don't want to be the third and only to start.

[Speaker 1]
Someone else does apparently.

[Speaker 2]
I don't know who to damage. I don't know who to check. Three minutes to go.

[Speaker 1]
So three minutes to go. And then suddenly, I think one other person came into the car, making us four in total. At this point, we were four.

We were three to be complete. But the lady behind me was like, can't you move and find more people going that way on the road? So I asked the driver.

Shortly after, he took off. Yeah, he had taken passengers along with him and the bus also. And we're still on track because, you know, where that bus would drop me, I'm still going to walk a distance to the school.

So my calculation from that 6 p.m. taking off at the bus stop was that no matter how it is, by 6.15, what I'll have to do will be to walk to the field. You know, like I should be at that bus stop where I'm stopping at 6.15 or before 6.15. This was a race against time. It was very tight.

And then, you know, I was like pressing my phone. And suddenly, I realized, I realized, wait, you've not been moving for a while. You know, this traffic light.

At 6.15, I'll get there. We're moving now. And having this recording on also was like, what kind of thing is this going to be?

Are we going to make it? I kept the recording on from, because we're still on the road, I kept the recording on from around 5.14 or 6.13 so that I can record in real time what happens as we approach 6.15. 6.16. And my run begins. So I thought that I'll walk to the pitch.

I'll just run to the pitch. I was worried about getting some workout in, because when I usually go with Marcus, we go really early. And so we train, we kick the ball around, run around the field.

Sometimes I even sweat and gas out. If I get there by walking at 6 and I'm in set two, then it means I will not have time to warm up. And when you don't warm up, you don't play well.

So if I know that this thing is going to be good for me, to get some warm up, why don't I just run out the way to the school? I've never run that distance before. Like I've only legged it one time, one of the times that Marcus couldn't come and I really wanted to play.

To be fair, to be honest, to be honest, I think I got a little addicted to this recording on the go with the intent of making it an episode on what I saw. But going back to manifestation, they're manifesting a full bus, right? They're manifesting a full bus.

They didn't get a full bus, but they got it close. Now, even from my own perspective, like I'm looking at these guys manifest, I'm looking at them manifest something that is going to affect me. And I'm trying, I didn't contribute my energy to it.

I just, I was very neutral. I didn't contribute my energy to whatever they were doing. But I was trying to see how it would affect me.

So am I going to get my 6pm deadline met, you know? And so I just watched them do their thing. And the 6pm deadline wasn't met, so to speak, you know, because it's not about the guy getting full.

It's about them. Well, it's about the guy getting full from their perspective, because that's full load, full money. But it's to be on the move and actually get the full load or the full money at the end of the day, you know?

And when he got on the move, he got the percentage that he needed. I got to leave on time. It wasn't really on time, on time.

It was like two minutes after six or so that we left. It was two minutes after six we left. So, and that affected the 15 minutes, 6.15 timeline that I had projected. But it was a win-win for everybody. Their belief and their expectation in what would happen to the boss after that man left was very high. Like, you needed to have seen the way they were trying to convince me that, no, that man was bringing bad luck.

And it came through. Now, a lot of people say manifestation. Oh, let me finish my story, guys.

That run, I had never done it before. And... Why do you want to stop?

Like, you know, like, I will not die, you know? I will not die. And this is the warm-up that we need.

So at this point, I had one thing on my mind. Like, now that I'm heading to this school, it's about 6.20-ish. Would I be late?

Because sometimes it starts early. It's not every time it's 6.30. 6.30 is... The field is open from, like, six o'clock.

It's just that we don't come early enough. That's why the football starts at 6.30. So I'm wondering, ah, I'm in set two. If the ball had started now, I'd probably miss my first set.

I would miss it. I was considering not running all the way to this school.

[Speaker 2]
Because I just realized that running is actually close. Really close. I just ran into the gates now.

I don't think... It don? start.

[Speaker 1]
And I went on to have a good game. I think I scored three goals. But the thing is that I got there on time.

I got my wish. And the people who were manifesting that thing that was going to affect me also got their wish. In no small measure.

Like, they got everything they wanted. It was me that wanted to leave by six. The man who said he just needed...

He needed to do four rounds. Pause. He said he needed to do four...

Make four trips. So he was actually down to leave right now with this remaining three. And then he left right now.

And then he still got the three that he needed. Now, that's a manifestation in a small time frame. Some people don't believe in manifestation because, you know, it did not manifest.

It did not materialize. But when you're manifesting things for yourself, as good as your mind can imagine it, that is what you would want to manifest. And you can do that because it's free.

But it takes time to materialize. Even some things that are not that grand. You want a promotion at work.

Or you want a new car. Like, you know, you can be manifesting whatever it is. But you don't know the time frame of the manifestation unless you set one to it.

You know, if you're manifesting with a time frame, there's a way, you know, you will get it. Because you added that to the command or the OS or whatever. But if you're not doing it with a time frame, it will take its time to manifest.

You have to just keep feeding it. Keep feeding it. And it kept feeding it too, you know.

At some point, there were now three people, two going, two to go. It wasn't two to go. It wasn't two to go.

It wasn't three people ready to go. It wasn't anything like that. But they were like saying it like it was.

Yesterday, no, not even yesterday. This morning, I came back from the gym. And I opened my bathroom door.

Not to open my bathroom, but there's a mirror. I like the view. So seeing my body.

And then just seeing the beauty of my bedroom. Because last year, and it means so much to me because I knew I was going to have this and I didn't have anything. And I didn't have any, like, you know, I wasn't working out.

I had atrophy. I didn't have any muscle or anything like that. But I had a plan.

Like, by so-so time, I should be at so-so weight. I should have, there's a certain physical level of myself. I remember I have pictures of that.

Like, okay, I should have reached this level. I'm like, yeah, this is just, you know, what I'm going to do. And my bedroom, I'll design it like this.

This is how all of these things, I'll do it. This time, I was just, I had a whole different routine, you know? And so, coming back from the gym and looking at myself in the mirror, I didn't even remember this that whole time.

And I was living inside it, bam, like that. The satisfaction was immense. I don't know if I can think it, I can do it.

It's just a thing of choice. Now, what do I value, you know? What do I value to enjoy my life?

But I know I can have everything, anything I want. I just pick. And it's crazy.

It's just not the time it would take to materialize or maybe my mind would change later based on one or two. So, at the end of the day, did you see a lesson on manifestation? Or I just made some clips from the day and I was excited about them and I wanted to use them in an episode.

So, I've delivered this to you.
