Eat as close to nature as possible. If you cannot tell exactly how this thing came about from nature, then you should look at it twice. For lunch on Sunday, I made stew with chicken and rice.
I don't know, I'm going somewhere with this. And across everything I used to make that meal, I realized I couldn't trust everything I was eating. There was a time three years ago when I decided I was going to go strictly on a plant-based diet and also some meat.
But the idea was that I wouldn't eat any carbs, I wouldn't eat any processed food, just so that I could stay healthy, you know, just so I could make sure that I would do everything within my power to improve my health span. But over time, it has become clearer and clearer that my efforts are being countered by my environment. How can you cook from scratch in your own kitchen? And yet you cannot trust the ingredients.
Let's start from the meat. If you're listening to this, you've probably seen a video online where a woman was washing a dead fish and putting some color in it to make it feel like the fish was still bleeding. We've also heard about all the GMO foods around.
We've also heard about all the fake products, fake toothpaste, fake tomato paste, fake spices, and all these things. There's hardly any original. There was something they used to call Akpruka.
Akpruka is fake alcoholic drinks, fake whiskey, fake vodka, fake Azul, fake Don Julio. And they do these things in Anambra state most of the time. A lot of people made a fuck ton of money doing Apulka in the east.
They would bottle it nicely, they would mix it up well, fucking up the liver of the population. But it wasn't that much of a big deal. The liver is a big I beat two of them.
But the idea is that these fake things were prevailing. But because it was turning into cash into somebody's pocket, the disease that was spreading was not really important. Even if it got to your doorstep, even if the man who has a factory making Akpruka loses his brother to kidney damage, we are so inept as a population to link that to what we are doing.
And even if we were to find out that it was our actions, even if those men or women were to find out that it was their actions that led to the demise of their family member in this manner, they may still not change. Because money is money. Money is, I mean, irreplaceable.
Remember this dome Israel has? If you don't know what I'm talking about, Israel has this kind of protective covering. I don't know if it's over the whole country or over Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, but this thing where they have a dome over them is kind of invisible. But if you shoot a missile into that place, the dome is going to protect that missile so nothing can enter the city and explode.
It's going to, you know, it's going to explode in the atmosphere because of that dome. So it's almost like we are covered in this dome of fakeness and sure death. Death by fake goods.
Rewind to the lunch I cooked today. The chicken, frozen as I bought it, would have been fake and there would be no way for me to know. I could try to smell the blood, but it didn't occur to me at that time.
But I cannot trust the chicken because of what is going on. To do the salad I did, I bought salad cream. I was checking the expiry date because the bottle was looking old.
It expires next year. But I can't trust that as well because as easily as they can make alcohol, they can make that with anything they want. So while the packaging will show some ingredients that you cannot even trust because some of them are acidic and dangerous to your health, it may not still be what is on the ingredient list that is inside the bottle.
What is inside the bottle could be way worse. You get the point. So picture yourself on a typical day.
You wake up, you brush your teeth. Toothpaste may be fake. You go to have breakfast.
Tea and bread with eggs. Egg may be fake. Honestly, eggs are adulterated now.
Either they are almost expired and they preserve them in some kind of way or you're simply just eating something that was made in a factory. You go to work and after doing some labor, you're thirsty. You don't even buy carbonated drinks because you're trying to live healthy obviously.
That's why you ate eggs in the morning. That could have killed you. That's why you brushed your teeth because you want to live healthy.
But that could also fuck up your liver, the toothpaste, because it's fake. But at work now you decide you want to drink water because coke is unhealthy. No pun intended.
But guess what? The water itself was packed. Before it got shipped to the shop that sold a single bottle to you, they kept it somewhere where someone would eat it and the carcinogen in the plastic will enter the water and you drink it because in this country nobody does quality control on these things. We have this ugly woman that is chairing our NavDak now that was laughing when we were talking about these issues.
That's precisely the point I beg. And so you drink that water. Good and fine.
You get hungry but you cannot trust all this food these days. You don't even trust the mama put or the restaurants in your area because you know ginger now is GMO. That was the most obvious one right now and if you need to don't use ginger to your food.
You cannot trust all the ingredients they use. So what do you do? You say you go buy fruits instead. You like apples, have you? An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Don't fucking kid me man. These days an apple a day. You may decide to eat an apple but you can't trust that as well because you may be stacked with chemicals that will kill you.
We are at the point now where we cannot escape fake goods even if you try. Even if you can afford it. You cannot seem, you don't have the skill set to differentiate between what is original and what is fake.
Let's stop establishing the magnitude of the problem and go straight to what I think is the solution. How can I ensure that I don't fall victim to all this fakeness? We can revert. We can go back to how things were done before.
All this industrialization and modernization of things. For example you wake up in the morning you go to brush your teeth. What if you get chewing sticks? Ditch the toothpaste and toothbrush for a minute.
Maybe not the toothbrush. So I've told you what I'll do with toothbrushing. How about taking my bath? What was the alternative to the soap that I use? I use Kay Brothers.
Beautiful papaya soap. I love the smell. I love how it lathers up very very quickly.
But if it's bad for me we'll have to ditch it no? I haven't found an alternative but I will. I'm going to find replacements for my bathing soap and some other things I'm going to mention in this episode that I have not arrived at yet. And when I find the answers to those things I'm not going to come back and make a new episode.
I'm going to list them all out in the Good Living Discussion group. If you're not there check in the description because I need everybody in this community. Everybody who thinks like this.
Who has the presence of mind to listen to this podcast or follow it. We need to be alive because there is something magnificent we can do collectively. How do I replace frozen chicken? Is to raise and kill the animal yourself.
By yourself I don't necessarily mean by your own hand but if you trust you see who raises chicken for example. Go to the market let them kill your chicken for you and give you. You bring it back home.
If you know somebody who is into fish farming buy retail from them. Even if they don't sell retail bag. If they don't sell retail bag tell them you don't want to die.
Yeah. Tomatoes you can grow those. You can grow tomato.
You can grow pepper. You can grow. If you can't if you can't you can buy them because they are fresh.
I don't mind. I buy tomato and pepper and I probably will keep buying fresh tomato and fresh pepper until I have substantial evidence that these are adulterated to the point where they could harm me. But at this point in time there are physical signs on pepper and tomato that will make you know okay this is good or this is bad and you can just avoid it from there because they are still as close to nature as they can be.
Same thing with onions. I bought onions today that had these black spots on it and I know those black spots are a sign of something very very dangerous but all the onions I bought had I mean I didn't buy a lot of it but I bought four bulbs or five and almost all of them had those black spots on them so it was unavoidable for me to cook and eat it even though I knew it was bad. You see how terrible this thing is and then you kind of hope okay even if it's a small mistake my antibodies should be able to handle it.
How do you even strengthen your antibodies? I know I'm digressing now I'll get back. It's by eating fruits. Remember what the apple is doing.
Now we have the ingredients right so if you don't have to use sachet tomato thank god the fresh option is there. You don't have to use sachet pepper you know you can you can use fresh pepper all the time. Any onion you see with black spots on it, run.
Leave it alone. Don't. Use your hand to select from the abuki.
All those black. You see onions that you know they are black you think you just want black stain or black charcoal something or black sand that's there. It's a lie.
There's something wrong with the onions that could kill you. That is making the body manifest that way. Even if you can dust it off it's not that doesn't solve the problem at all.
Now this is the part that is interesting. Salt and seasoning cubes and spices like curry and thyme these things come in packets that Dangute sells and the rest. I cannot trust them anymore but there are alternatives.
Do you know that Maggi for example was made with natural ingredients ideally if you watch Terra advert for example you will see where they put a bunch of things crayfish this that and the other then they will now compress them then it becomes that Terra cube so the idea is that whatever they use the natural ingredients they use to make the seasoning cube gather them with your own hand and put them inside your food one by one by yourself and i've not done this and i don't know what exactly those ingredients are but i will make sure i find out and put it in that discussion group and i'll find out what you can replace salt and Maggi with so that we don't have to buy them we can just buy the raw spices and cook with that that's what that's my that's what i'm reverting to. Lastly is curry and thyme naturally thyme and even bay leaf these things should be naturally occurring. Thyme if you look at it by itself it already looks like it is the plant but once it is packaged and sealed you know somebody has some big corporation that cares more about the bottom line than your health is involved in that production line or that production chain and as a result you cannot trust that what they are giving you is the best for your health and so thyme i would rather buy from the raw version the one that the abuki is selling inside the basket that i know he just fetched from the farm or whatever as long as he didn't pass any corporation's hand to meet me even if the trust would not be 100 it would be way higher than the one that is packaged.
Same thing with curry i know as old as i am i probably don't even know what okay curry is made from curry leaves at least i don't know what but yeah i can buy the curry leave myself or find the most natural version of it that exists and buy but you see the other spices that will replace your salt and maggi once i find those i will let you know. So a quick recap if you don't trust chicken buy from the buy the one that you see them kill if you don't trust maggi you shouldn't trust maggi and salt if you don't trust your and toothbrush use chewing stick use charcoal don't use salt if you don't trust your bathing soap i will find an alternative and i'll say it in the discussion group if you don't trust your maggi and salt i will find alternatives and i put them in the discussion group if you don't trust your curry and thyme ask your local seller to give you the one that they took from the farm that sounds very very vague well i'm pretty sure there's a way you can find it i will anything that is unclear in this episode as i'm going to edit it and play it back and we'll make a list and i'll find all those things out and so that's it for the episode next episode of the believing podcast if you don't understand what this straight up home use is right please trump iran war and all of that next episode i will explain it in a very very sweet manner that will all understand thank you very much for listening to the believing podcast i remain coke see you in the next episode
